IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A FAMILY
We wish to thank you for this opportunity to request support for Earth for Humanities Foundation, and to help fulfill our goals in providing a resource center and bringing computers to multi-cultural, low-income, single parents at a national level. We accept donations of working computers, funds and recyclable electronic materials. We are attempting to bridge the gaps that low-income single partners have when trying to better or at least attempt to improve their quality of life. Our goal is to bring greater opportunities, better occupational options, computer literacy, internet accessibility, interactive supportive networking and new educational resources during the most critical child rearing times of their lives. We believe these families deserve to live with dignity, compassion, comfort, love and support for themselves and their loved ones. Technology is an area that has not been addressed for these single parent families. The availability and accessibility of on-line technology is an insurmountable tool for them to compete in today's job market, connection to long distant relatives, irreplaceable school aid to the children, an online library, unlimited research center and bringing a window of the world into their homes. We thank you for choosing Earth as your donation center.
